 Re: Version Confusion
Run the Disk Utility application and repair the file/folder permissions for your hard drive. I think something is wrong with either your OS or your file/folder permissions that is causing issues.

 Re: Version Confusion
Wow, good call -- it found rows and rows of items. It repaired 62 of them, all within the Libraries folder. It also found and warned on seven other items, all SUID files. I guess I'll know how it went tomorrow morning!
Thank you,

 Re: Version Confusion
It still asks for a manual restart, unfortunately. Any other suggestions? That said, I'm pretty happy two of the three issues are now fixed.... Many thanks!

 Re: Version Confusion
Manual restart?
Oh - you mean it's still requiring you to manually start the server. Is the plist file mentioned above still not there? The likely reason it isn't was because the permission errors you saw repaired were keeping the server from creating the file. Stop the server then restart it with the auto start unchecked. Then stop it and restart it with the auto start checked and see if that recreates the file.

 Re: Version Confusion
Correct! I realized I was looking in the wrong library location, so have no idea if the permission file was there before...it is now though. I'm still being asked for manual restart most times, but once last night it did start up by itself. Should I try deleting the existing file and letting Indigo generate a new one to see if that solves the issue? The other two issues seem to be fully resolved. Thank you, --Cliff

 Re: Version Confusion
Yeah - shut down the server, delete the file, then restart the server. That should recreate the file. If it doesn't then there's a permission problem on that folder such that Indigo can't write to it - which shows that you still have some disk errors.
