Is there anyway of enable/disable VNC on Indigo computer?
I'd like to remotely use VNC on the Indigo server computer outside of the house. But I don't like VNC enabled all the time due to possible hacking. Is there a way that using the Indigo server (Indogo Touch) to turn ON/OFF VNC on the Indigo server computer? Possibly using an apple script of some sort. Or maybe I'm being overconcerned and VNC is safe to have enabled all the time.

Sorry for the late response.
I did not end up using it but I either had this work or had to modify this to line up the system preferences sharing with the correct version of OS X.
tell application "System Preferences" activate end tell
tell application "System Events" tell process "System Preferences" click menu item "Sharing" of menu "View" of menu bar 1 -- delay 1 tell window "Sharing" click checkbox 1 of row 7 of table 1 of scroll area 1 of group 1 end tell end tell end tell

I turn VNC access on/off on as needed at the firewall. Just add/remove the VNC ports from the set of network services that you are port forwarding over to your indigo box.
Another option might be to use Apple Remote Desktop which would remove any VNC based vulnerabilities.
And of course...doing VNC or ARD via VPN is a very secure way to do remote screen sharing.
Straight out VNC has no concept of a user. All VNC uses is a password. No username is used. I look at that as.....they are already 50% of the way in if they do not need to enter a user name. All they have to guess is a password, instead of a username AND a password.
