 RFXCOM rcfr script
I've got a RFXCOM rcvr that I've been using for a long win on my win box, to listed to wireless temp sensors, but I'd love to tie it into my macmini with indigo. Has anyone successfully gotten this wired together?
I've seen a few messages, and some parts that were rumored to work, but some of the dependencies are either not avail, or dont work in lion (serialbridge)
Sure seems like a handy device to add if it isn't already.

 Re: RFXCOM rcfr script
There has been some interest in creating a RFXCOM plugin for Indigo, but I don't know if anyone has started it yet or not.

 Re: RFXCOM rcfr script
I spoke to rfxcom a few days ago, here is his reply.
Hi Colin,
Last week we found a person who is able to write a plug-in for RFXCOM. Hopefully we will have the plugin for the USB version available in February. The LAN version will follow soon after that but this depends on the availability of a new LAN hardware we are working on.

 Re: RFXCOM rcfr script
I started putting a plugin together for the RFX Temperature Sensors. I have the low level code for putting the data packet together, but have not had time test and package - it is still in a pretty rough state. Will be happy to share what I've done via email.

 Re: RFXCOM rcfr script
I found out that RFX.com is working on a plug in. They mentioned they would have something by end of February, possibly earlier.

 Re: RFXCOM rcfr script
We knew about them working on the plugin (see the post about 5 up) but we didn't have any delivery estimate. That is great news that it's going to be available in the next couple of months!

 Re: RFXCOM rcfr script
The plug-in that's in development will be for the new transceiver only. I sold my old RFX and the new just came today. I'm trying to get a version of plug-in to try out. So far, it's picking up all my sensors using their PC tools. http://www.rfxcom.com/transceivers.htm#12103
