Post Ignore SSL Errors
I know it's an unsupported configuration, but is there anyway to have an ignore button for SSL errors? Right now, I get an error saying that "The certificate for this server is invalid…Connection to Indigo Server failed", and Indigo doesn't connect.

I'm not sure. Is the problem it is a self-generated certificate? If so, then I would think that you would need to get the certificate added somehow. What happens if you go to the HTTPS address from iOS Safari instead of Indigo Touch? Any way to add the cert there?

The certificate was puchased from godaddy.com. Don't judge, it was cheap. :)

It requires an intermediate certificate which Mac OS X Server doesn't seem to handle very well. Every time I reboot, it rewrites the apache certificate and looses the intermediate certificate in the process.

The iOS Safari client gives an option to ignore the certificate issues or cancel. Ideally, I'd like Indigo to have the same behavior.

I'll add it to the Indigo Touch feature consideration list so I remember to look into it later. But note we aren't planning on having an Indigo Touch update for a while (priority is Lion bug fixes, v5 release, then we'll make another pass on Touch).

I thought I'd just bump this up again. I use a self-generated cert for a private Apache server and I just set it up to redirect SSL to my Indigo server. It works in Safari on my iPhone - I have the "Fraud Warning" option in the Safari settings disabled, so I get a warning about the SSL cert but I'm given the option to ignore it and continue connecting. Indigo Touch complains about the cert and won't let me use the connection though... I would love to see Indigo Touch have a similar option that would warn on an unsigned cert but let the user have an option to use it. It would give me a nice encrypted connection to Indigo when I'm away from home...
