Unknown devices when looking at links
Hi, I upgraded to Indigo 5.1 recently. I was looking at my configuration and see that a number of my devices have unknown device links. I'm sure this is due to a couple of hardware device failures I had, where I couldn't remove the links because the devices no longer work. Is the proper method to fix this to factory reset the device with the unknown device links and then resync with Indigo? I'm hoping I don't have to reconfigure all of my links again.
Thanks.

Re: Unknown devices when looking at links
You can attempt to delete them - hold down the option+command keys when you select "Manage INSTEON Device Links..." and it should allow you to delete those links. If that doesn't work, then a factory reset then a resync should do the trick - just make sure that your good links are marked as persistent in the links dialog.

Re: Unknown devices when looking at links
In the Manage Links dialog the entries are shown with a status of "not editable", and the "Delete link" button is not highlighted. I suspect that means I'm headed to a factory reset, does that sound right? I can't see how to delete any other way. Am I missing something?
Thanks.

And you're sure you held down command and option when you opened the dialog? If so, then yeah a factory reset is the next thing to do.

Re: Unknown devices when looking at links
Just figured that out. I was accessing "Manage Links" after double-clicking on a device. option-command doesn't do anything there. I then figured out that I had to do this from the Menu Interfaces item. It's now doing something, although I wasn't able to delete all unknown links. I'm syncing right now and will see what remains. Thanks.
