Post Help w/ trigger
Hi all - I have been an Indigo user since ver 3. I have not posted to the forum before because I usually can find the answer to my questions in the forum. I hope I can get some help with my current annoyance.

For years I have used an X10 Templinc to check room temperature and when it reaches 78 an Indigo trigger turns on a heavy duty X10 outlet. I also have a trigger that turns the outlet off when that desired temp is achieved. Alas, my Templinc stopped sending data. I purchased an Insteon Wireless Thermostat 2441ZTH and am trying to get it to work with the trigger.

The 2441ZTH is working fine. I can live with the sleep issue. I wrote triggers that is very similar to the old X10 starting and stopping triggers. For some reason they do not seem to be working. I can see the 2441ZTH data in the event viewer so Indigo is receiving the temperature changes. When the temp gets to 78, I can see that the trigger has executed and the correct X10 Command has been sent. Nothing happens!?

Thinking it is probably something I did not setup correctly I have tried various things. Enable and Upload, Enable(processed when Indigo is connected). Neither of those changed the behavior. The odd thing is that when I click on Execute Actions Now, the outlet gets its command and everything works correctly. The Execute Actions Now has been 100% for both triggers.

It seems that when Indigo receives the temp data that should execute the trigger, it does so as per the Event Viewer but it does not actually send the X10 command. I don't know how many times I have played with the conditions trigger point in testing but the command is never received by the X10 outlet. Can anyone give me some insight into what might be occurring or not occurring?

BTW: Does anyone know of an Insteon outlet that is rated for 20 amps? :|

Put a second or two delay on the action - it might be that the X10 signal is colliding with the cleanup messages from the thermostat.

Hi Jay - First thank you for the very prompt reply!! I'll give it up to you, you were very correct. A 2 sec delay and everything is working as expected!

Thanks again!
