Hi,

All my house uses XPT wall transmitters, the old model. Some of them wear out once in a while, so I need to keep some in stock for replacement. I am not able to find any of these old XPT transmitter anymore because they are discontinued.

I want to stick with the old generation as long as I can to prevent me of maintaining a double inventory. I found some XPT3 unit that I was told I can easily be modified to a XPT model. Can anyone confirm if that is true ?

Once these old unit won't be available, what should I move to ? The new XPT models or to Insteon units ? I presently use Indigo v5.1 with an Intel iMac and a CM11A.
