 Action groups and scenes
Ok, still new to this....
I'm using Indigo 5 (lite), Indigo Touch, and no keypads. Do I create scenes from the "manage insteon Powerlinc links " menu like the tutorial reads in the manual, or just schedules and action groups... Sort a confused here...
It almost appears you can't create scenes without a keypad.
What am I missing here?
PS: I can't wait to install my new switches tomorrow for my coach lights... Nothing to do with the above questions... Just excited

 Re: Action groups and scenes
Check out this wiki article and the pages it links to - I think it will clarify things.

 Re: Action groups and scenes
Thank you, that is helpful.
If I'm not using any control pads (just itouch and ipad app) Would I ever use triggers, or just set things up in action groups?
Thanks for the help.

 Re: Action groups and scenes
Hi Andy,
Just Action Groups unless you want to trigger the execution of those groups off of something like a Keypad button press, device or variable state change, incoming email, etc.
