Does anyone have estimates on the range of the V572? Looking to install in the attic of a 2 story home in hopes to cover the entire house.

If the range is short, can 2 or more of the V572 be deployed?

I think the range will depend on the transmitter type. For example, the Palm Pad remotes seem to give out a much stronger signal then the keyfob type remotes.

You can use multiple V572s, but you will need a PC so that you can configure them to filter out the house codes that the other unit is using. If they both try to send the same command on the power line at the same time, then the commands will collide and may not work.

I have a V572 mounted in my garage at about 12 feet up. I can reliably use my X10 keyfob remote from 2 or 3 houses (70 yards or so) away.
