Post Re: AccuWeather Attachment Script
Does anyone know if it's possible, or available, to just
acquire one variable from this script for a 24 forecast?
Something simple like "Sunny", "Rain likely" etc.

Thanks,

Carl

This question has been asked before.
See the info on the first page of this thread on how you can adjust the script for your own specific needs.

Post Re: AccuWeather Attachment Script
I just tried running this and I have a few questions...

1. In the instructions it shows how to look in the weather widget for a URL, etc... Well, that line for some reason doesn't show up in my Activity Window. I figured I could just go into your code, and replace the "90210" with my local zip. Is that not cool?

2. After making that change, I start up the Indigo Server and I just get a log filled with errors. No variables were created or anything. Other than that this script is way over my head. Any ideas what's going on here? Can I test this just by opening it in Script Editor and hitting 'run'. (If so, how do I stop a background script? Quitting Script Editor?)

(Basically, what I'm really after is the current day forecast, so I can speak that to myself in the morning). I figured this Accuweather script would be the best way to do it, but it appears that both it and the NOAA script are really more for 'current conditions'.
