Post Python errors
Ever since I updated to 5.0.3 I have been getting "python quit unexpectedly" several times. The system works ok except the server has no responsea and stays on last page displayed. I have to restart Indigo to make it operate again. I have not seen this error before and I've been using this for a couple years or so. Could there be an error in any of my code? I looked in the log and did not see any errors noted there. If I'm away from the house I can't get the system to respond. Is thre any auto recovery from it?

Any hints as to what to look for?

Hmmm. Look in these directories:

~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/
/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/

for any crash log files with python in the name. If you find any, email them to indigo DASH support AT perceptiveautomation DOT com with a link to this forum thread. It's either the Indigo Web server or SQL Logging (if you have it enabled), at least from Indigo's perspective since those are the only two things that Indigo starts as python processes. And it should show those disconnecting in your Event Log around the time the python process crashes.

However, neither of those should cause Indigo to become unresponsive. So it's a big mystery. I suppose if the Python install on your Mac became corrupt you'd see those python processes crash and it could hang other Indigo processes that run python interpreters internal in the Indigo server or IPH (plugin) processes. Also send us any Indigo crash logs you find in those directories that are dated the same day as the crash.
