- Base Station Brand/Model - Config B/G/N - Max distance from base station and still get a "usable' signal - Urban/Rural - # of neighbors on your channel [if any]

Agree completely, but the shear number of people complaining about the exact same issues can't be ignored. Some users are on their 3rd or 4th swap and they all have issues! re: Screen Yellow, doesn't surprise me since multiple vendors are supplying.

Older Airpot Extrem 802.11g, version 5.7. No problems so far using it anywhere in a 2 story house. Not sure if neighbors on the same channel, but there are several neighbors within Wi-Fi distance whose WAPs show up here.

jay wrote:... EDIT: so, if you create your control pages 2x the viewable size of a control page on an iPad, then it will scale the view down to fit exactly and will look "retina" ready. The only downside is that all the control images we supply will be tiny because we don't supply 2x versions of them (yet). We'll add that to the list of things to look into in future releases. If you create your own images though, and you make them all 2X (or just larger) then they'll look great!
Since creating a 2x control page for iPad (new) viewing, the responsiveness of the stock indigo control images is significantly reduced. For example, might have to touch the screen several times to get the light to respond. Could it be that the images are just too small and my fingers are too large? (I had assumed it was related to the large file size of the 2x image, which takes a little while to load)

 Re: iPad Suggestions
I haven't noticed that here. If you pinch-zoom in, is it still unresponsive?

 Re: iPad Suggestions
No problems here at all, but I have a commercial router at home. Wifi3 only.
Will post in a couple of days, as out to the house in Spain which has awful wifi because the walls are a couple of feet thick stone. That should put it too the ultimate test, next to the ipad2.

 Re: iPad Suggestions
I have the new iPad (and I also have an iPad 2). I've travelled extensively (multiple states) with the new iPad, and had zero wifi issues (hotels, offices, hot spots and home). I can only speak for myself, but if there were an inherent problem with it, I think I would have seen it by now. I have a number of control pages built out specifically for iPad 2 (you can see some early screen shots in the control pages forum, viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1506&start=270), that I'm also testing on the new iPad. They work amazingly well on both, and incredibly fast. I have not yet started a page at higher resolution, specifically for the new iPad. The new iPad display is amazing, and makes even tiny type on a control page pop. That said, I think the iPad 2 is more than sufficient for most of my control page needs.

 Re: iPad Suggestions
Sounds like the problem might be specific to Wi-Fi in the Wi-Fi only model, so just get the 4G one and you'll be fine. Hopefully.

And for the record, the one I have is the 4G LTE version. Couldn't live without some level of GPS capability any longer...

 Re: iPad Suggestions
I have wifi only 3 as i have a 2 with 3G for taking on the road. We don't get 4g in the uk for at least 6 months so I thought that could wait for the march 2012 version - I've not noticed any problems at home, but will test this week.
