I am not sure if these graphics are served from Indigo server, or are embedded in the Indigo app.

But looking at the screenshot below, you can see the stock graphics (like power icon, gear icon, etc.) are not retina. It might hard to see in the screenshot, but it is obvious on an iPad 3.

Are retina icons ever coming?

They are retina on the iPhone. Apple, in their infinite wisdom, decided that when the retina iPad came out you had to tweak, rebuild and resubmit an app in order to get it to use retina graphics rather than just use the 2x graphics that were already there for the iPhone. Stupid Apple.

Anyway, we haven't released an Indigo Touch update yet (and probably won't until after Indigo 6 final is released) that tells iOS to use the right graphics.
